When it comes to IT security, we make no compromises and deliberately avoid using rich text editors with Javascript and HTML in the entire platform, which are used in all hybrid employee apps - browser application in native guise. Processing third-party code (Javascript) is unperformant on all native apps and can cause crashes on older devices.

Since these programming languages are not standard on mobile devices, it also opens up opportunities to inject malware into the app. This is proven by our regular external penetration tests.

For stability and security reasons, HUMANSTARSapp therefore offers the current employee app exclusively as a fully native app (analogous to LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.) with a native editor.

Your data is located within our closed system 100% on servers in Germany - ISO27001 (no cloud solution) and is managed directly by us. Our sub-contractors are also located exclusively in Germany.

Alternatively, you can access your platform data via a VPN tunnel connection (via desktop with LAN even without Internet access) or your data is located on-premise on your server if desired.

Employees can communicate independently within the workplace-independent information and work platform with their own mobile devices / BYOD (bring your own device) or via a browser version in compliance with the GDPR, even in the event of an IT shutdown following a cyber attack on existing internal systems (crisis-proof communication). As an option, employees can also be reached using the SMS alert system (alerts on mobile devices).
